Early Collages and Thumbnails
These early collages and thumbnails were what I used as a jumping off point to begin discussions with the director. I took notes on the ideas and concepts he liked and the ones that needed more work.
Later Collages and Thumbnails
These later collages and thumbnails were after more collages, thumbnails and discussions with the director. These thumbnails were used as the main discussion tool to develop the final sketches above and were the first thumbnails to include color. In order to discuss color further, approximately 20-40 color combinations were created. Those were then narrowed down to the coloring used in the final sketches.
